The child maltreatment hopes to ensure that every child is in a safe and supportive environment by addressing the issue of child maltreatment in Dolores and Montezuma Counties.

Currently, the group is working to find ways to enducate youth in our community about child development and effective parenting practices. This will hopefully influence the next generation of parents in our community. The work does not stop there. The group will continue to also find ways to infuluence and educate the current generation of parents in our community.
